What are the ’Best’ and ’Worst’ British Accents? | Accent Prejudice in the UK

We discuss accentism (accent prejudice) in the UK. It is a real problem. People with certain regional accents face discrimination and it may opportunities at the workplace and elsewhere. Some people still feel the need to change their accents to fit in. In this video we’ll look at different British accents including Scouse, Brummie, Cockney, Geordie, RP and the BBC accent. We’ll look at the ones that people consider the ’best’ and the ’worst’.
