Needle Felting Mushroom Picture - Part 2 of 2D Felted Mushrtooms

Today we are needle felting 2D Mushrooms … Part 2! Last week we needle felted our cute mushroom pictures with these darling red-capped mushrooms and focused on shading and highlights. Now it’s time to finish off our felted toadstools with some mossy goodness, aka grass, and leaves and ! Join us for some tips and fiber suggestions on finishing off your felted mushroom picture with great color and texture -- that does not require a lot of thinking. We are needle felting on pure linen and our mushrooms are needle felted with our famous MC-1 Wool Batting. Today we are going to put those “luster and luxury” fibers to work! That means silky, shiny, textural stuff like silk hankies, sari silk waste, tussah silk, bamboo fiber, nepps, wool locks, you name it! They can be fun to needle felt with, especially for some quick color and texture.
