LS Swapped Widebody Delorean Twin Turbo Fabrication! - DMC12 Ep. 1

Salvage to Savage Gear: Follow us on IG for Daily Posts, Updates, and Giveaways! @SalvagetoSavage ------------------------------------------------------------------------- We’ve read through the comments of the Tesla swapped squarebody C10 videos and realized we didn’t do a very good job at hiding our second SEMA project from you guys! So we figured with SEMA closing in, now is as good of a time as ever to introduce our 1982 Delorean project. We’re stuffing a twin turbo LS3 into the back of this iconic 80’s car, slamming to the ground, and putting on an insane wide body kit! We teamed up with Khyzyl Saleem to create one of the most aggressive concepts we have ever seen on a Delorean. He came up with a crazy IMSA inspired aero package that will make this DMC12 look like a real supercar. We have Jeff Gardner back in the shop to 3D scan the car, so that we have an accurate surface to base our body kit measurements off of, so we know our widebody panels will fit true to our car. Once the car is digitized, we’re able to drop in our LS Motor. It takes a bit of cutting and welding but we’re able to fit the motor with our Porsche transmission nicely in the bay of this rear engine car. With the LS in place, we can start working on mounting our twin Garret turbos to give us some serious power. We’re letting these things hang below the rear bumper to show off all the boost we’re going to be making, and giving this car a real supercar feel. We still have a ton of work to get this car show ready, but this twin turbo LS motor is really the heart of this build. We’re stoked to have another wide body car pulling up next to our EV swapped Tesla C10 at SEMA this year to turn some more heads! We think the twin Tesla motor C10 truck and the twin turbo LS Delorean will be competing to see who can turn the most heads! ---------------------------------------------------------------- If you’re trying to change up the look of your car, make sure to check out Khyza’s insane LTO body kits!
