Basic Camera Setup in UE4 for Tracking

Creating a super simple scene with the basic elements you need to test that your camera is talking to Unreal Engine and tracking correctly. We go over: - Which version of the engine to install (spoiler: base this on what your plugin supports) - Creating a blank project - Creating a new map (level) test environment for your camera - Adding in a cube, lights, ground floor and camera - How to move objects, navigate the scene and a basic introduction to the Unreal interface - Where to install Blackmagic or AJA from the marketplace (plus a note on installation for other virtual production plugins) - How to enable plugins in your project - How to see Engine and Plugin content so you can start setting up tracking on your camera. From there you’ll need to refer to your specific plugin documentation for setting up input, output, timecode sync etc. But if you’re totally new to Unreal, this will get you going with a test environment quickly.
