HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A 7 SECOND VOLVO ???

Alan McSweeney was running his 1974 Volvo 162e at the Doorslammers event at Santa Pod Raceway. It is fitted with a 400ci Twin Turbo SBC. Each time I see it, it gets quicker and quicker, and today it broke into the 7’s on nearly every run, with a best time that I filmed being a @ 176mph, although Al, did go on to run a @ 174mph. And remember, it’s street legal. The class he runs in, means they have to go out for a drive out and back !!
