Lake Bled is a beautiful lake of 2 kilometers length in a mountainous area of Gorenjska in Slovenia. Lake Bled is approximately 30 km from the international airport of Ljubljana. In the middle of the lake there is a small church of the 9th century with the Church of the Virgin Mary. The Pokljuška Plateau is two kilometers away with a wonderful waterfall.
