Creating Fire Effect using Fabric | DavinciResolve & Fusion

AHOY THERE ME MATIES! It is time for something different. The Captain is well known for having a great passion for using his hands. Unfortunately the digital age has glued us to the screens. People are always trying to find solutions in the domain of the digital tools, forgetting that this used to be handled entirely different back in the days when limitations had to lead to innovations. But what keeps us from using methods outside of the workstation to enhance our digital FX? Only our mindset. Time to change now! This fire effect was created using a piece of fabric shot on a Blackmagic camera.
