Guthrie Govan - The Fellowship - April 2004 - FULL CONCERT

I recorded this concert nearly 20 years ago. Guthrie’s performance gives you an idea of how advanced he was. He was light years ahead of most of the Pro-guitarists and still is. For the video, I used a conventional mediocre tape recorder or Camcorder. Because of the poor light of the venue, the footage is not great, but I tried to tweak it to improve it as much as I possibly could, the same with the sound. I did go to the Bassment a few times before this recording to see them, which is the venue in the footage, and at that time, I decided to try to record the next whole concert with the fear that they may not have allowed it, but they were fine with it. If I remember well, after recording and editing it at home, I gave a DVD copy to each one of the members. Sorry about some glitches in the footage, especially with the sound; it was recorded in tapes and then transferred to DVDs at the maximum quality possible at those times.
