Lamp Restoration [Easy Removing Patina From Brass, Sandblasting]

In this restoration of the old rusty lamp, I use simple means (flour, salt, vinegar) to remove the patina from the brass. In this project I also show you how I remove the rust from the parts by sandblasting, but my tasks also include sanding, welding, painting, filling, cleaning, polishing and working on the lathe. You can find out whether the lamp lights up again at the end in this video! ▶ What did I do ?! ◀ I removed the rust from the old lamp by sandblasting. A hole was drilled in the base of the lamp, which I welded shut again, as the hole made no sense to me. After all the unevenness had been filled with filler, I sprayed the parts with spray paint. The frame is made of brass, which was covered with a layer of patina. I removed the patina with simple means (flour, salt and vinegar) - this works very well. These parts were then polished. I washed, sanded and polished the remaining small parts.
