Moment large waterspout spotted off coast in Southwold, Suffolk

Subscribe to the Evening Standard on YouTube: A waterspout caught the attention of coastal tourists and residents in Southwold on Friday after it was seen moving across the sea. The strange occurrence was filmed by Lisa Wroe, 49, from Flint in Wales, as she was holidaying in Suffolk. “I was sat near the pier and it went very dark in the distance and started thundering,” Ms Wroe told the PA news agency.
