45 Min Intermediate Yoga Flow | Peak Pose Bird Of Paradise

Welcome to this peak pose flow where we will be working towards bird of paradise. Bird of paradise is a complex pose consisting of a balance, a bind and a hip opener. Todays class is sequenced to take your body through a process of preparing for each element and will help you to understand the mechanics of the pose. Todays flow starts with postures that focus on spinal rotations and lots of shoulder mobility to ready you for bird of paradise. We then move through a series of sequences to ready the lower body including hamstring stretches, hip mobility, inner and outer thigh work to help you lift and hold the leg in our peak pose. This can be a tricky pose so I recommend having a strap, scarf or tie on hand to help you with the bind. I hope this peak pose flow.
