Nardis - Miles Davis (cover by Punching Abraham)

Now that I’m back in Toronto, I get to play a lot with some killer musicians that are much better than me. My sister is also in Toronto and goes to Ryerson, and was able to book their studio and engineer it for my friends and I just to jam. What you’re hearing/watching is an unrehearsed group that’s never played together before in this formation. Guitar- Derek Ullenboom Keys- Andrew Kesler (me) Bass- Andrew Roorda Drums- Tristan Henderson The tune we’re playing is Nardis, by Miles Davis. I’ve only played it once before and Tristan never had. Roorda showed us this funky arrangement so we talked through it and BAM, laid down a couple takes. Special thanks to my sister Sarah and her other group members for running everything in the booth so well. We’re pretty pleased with the sound we got.
