Saudi Arabia and Qatar after Trump’s Sword Dance

Prabir Purkayastha speaking on the recent political developments in the West Asia said that the embargo and sanctions imposed on Qatar by Saudi Arabia led Gulf States signals a further change in the regional dynamic. The present break in GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) is the result of the divergence in Saudi Arabia’s and Qatar’s views on different Islamic groupings.
