The world’s first quantum drone was born in China

The drone equipped with quantum communication equipment weighs about 35 kilograms and can be called the world’s first quantum drone. On the experimental side of quantum communication, China is widely applying it to daily life. After more than two years of hard work, academician Zhu Shining of Nanjing University and his team finally realized the distribution of quantum entanglement based on drones, and developed a quantum communication device suitable for drones. Quantum drones are a milestone in the development of quantum communications.
