British Spying on Gaza and Yemen CONFRONTED by Cyprus Youth Movement

From the highest point on Cyprus, a colonial-era British spy station is still snooping on the Middle East. From Palestine to Lebanon and Yemen, the UK bases on Cyprus are playing a key role in Britain’s unprecedented support for Israel’s atrocities in Gaza and air raids on the Houthis. Seviros Koulas, the leader of Cyprus’ United Democratic Youth Organisation (EDON), tells Declassified about a recent protest they held outside the GCHQ spy site on Mount Troodos, which follows another demo at RAF Akrotiri - as pressure mounts on Britain to finally end its colonial occupation on parts of Cyprus.
