Restoration Rusty Giant Splitting Axe

Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new restoration project. This is old rusty splitting axe I found at flea market. I never seen before that such a large and heavy axe. Sure, I bought it at time to restore it! Restoration process: First, I removed axe handle and check the condition of axe head. There was no deep pits or rust high level and I used rusty remover liquid. Then via iron brush, files and grinderstone I corrected the shape of axe and axe eye.
