Drawing Animals for Beginners - Part 1 - Structure & Form
Hello! I hope you enjoy this beginner’s guide to drawing animals! In part 1, I show you how to understand the underlying structure of animals. Many animals have a very similar skeletal structure and it’s often a matter of knowing which of those basic structures to modify to achieve a particular animal. Once we go over structure, I show you how to build the form of the animal around the structure using photo references. And also how to modify your structure to accommodate various poses. Stay tuned for part 2 where we’ll get into action, foreshortening, and details!
The photo references I used were from and I’m linking them below :)
