Музей «Дом Пастернака» во Всеволодо-Вильве – это восстановленный дом управляющего химическими заводами, принадлежавшими в к. XIX - н. XX вв. Савве Морозову. В 1916 году в доме управляющего гостил молодой поэт Борис Пастернак, в будущем – лауреат Нобелевской премии 1958 года.
Он прожил здесь почти полгода – с января по конец июня 1916-го. Через всю жизнь Пастернак пронес память об Урале и Перми, назвав ее Юрятиным в своем романе «Доктор Живаго».
К концу 1990-х годов дом управляющего почти полностью разрушился. В 2005 году губернатор Пермского края О.А. Чиркунов принимает решение о восстановлении Дома Пастернака как места исторической памяти. В июле 2006 первый кирпич в основание дома заложил сын поэта Евгений Борисович Пастернак. С этого момента музей «Дом Пастернака» отсчитывает свою историю.
В 2008 году музей открылся для посетителей. В 2009 стал самым отдаленным филиалом Пермского краеведческого музея. Музей принимает до 3000 человек в год. Он является важной культурно-образовательной площадкой на северо-востоке Прикамья, вовлекает своих гостей в творческие и инклюзивные проекты.

Pasternak’s House is the museum in Vsevolodo-Vilva in the Perm region.
The great poet, author of the novel “Doctor Zhivago”, Pasternak spent almost half a year here - from January to the end of June 1916. This time were crucially important in his life: 26-years poet rearranged his doubts and poetic consciousness fully filled his soul.
Unfortunately, the original house where Pasternak stayed, was almost destroyed in the 1990-s. In 2005 the Permian governor supported the idea to restore this house for create a museum. In July 2006, the first brick in the foundation of the house was laid by the poet’s son Yevgeny Borisovich Pasternak. In 2008, the museum was opened to visitors.
The Pasternak’s House Museum has become a real cultural center of the village, with guided tours, literary events, and annual conference for students. Besides, the museum made this place recognizable on the Russian tourist map.
There is also a one-of-a-kind inclusive exposition in our museum: “An interaction with the poet’s garden”. As a poet, Pasternak set himself the goal of depicting the world in motion, of conveying nature’s stormy life: its voices, tones and states. Seven musical art-objects help tourists, including people with disabilities, to touch the mystery of poetry’s conception.
The Urals’ taiga landscape became the setting for the novel “Doctor Zhivago”. The prototype for Varykino is Ivaka, a little picturesque place in the folds of wooded mountains, where a chemical plant once stood. Only the walls of the old factory remain from the Pasternak’s time.
