Garvin Discusses Jaffe Interview Fallout

On Friday I did an interview with David Jaffe, talking about a wide range of game industry topics: At the 2:40:00 mark (in the video, I said two minute, ugh! it’s the two hour and forty minute mark) I made a comment about paying full price for games, which made a few headlines. There is so much Twitter engagement on this topic that I can’t address it all in text, as I normally do with gamers who want to talk, so I made this video instead. TL;DW I said it, but I was quoted out of context. I also said, repeatedly, that I was not talking about DG; I have not been at Bend Studio for two years; I don’t know if they’re working on a sequel or not; I don’t know the sales numbers.
