Full title reads: “London. The Lord Mayor’s Show - time honoured ceremonial - despite its critics, once again delights young and old - and always will!“ London. Military band wearing bearskins lead parade. They are followed by troops on foot and horseback. Girls in Scottish dress with bagpipes (The Dagenham Girl Pipers). Another band follow and after them are representatives of the Royal British Legion. The ex-servicemen are carrying flags and wearing medals. Next come a cavalry band in full ceremonial dress. The Lord Mayor’s ceremonial horse drawn coach comes to a halt. C/U of the coach driver in his ceremonial garb. Procession out of Church / Cathedral.
