Out Takes / Cuts From Cp 620 - Reel 1 Of 2 - New England (1966)

Cuts (rushes, out takes) for story in Colour Pictorial - CP 620. The original story is also on Pathe Master tape *PM0385*. Cuts for story NEW ENGLAND in CP 620. Mostly similar footage to the cut story. Several shots in Sturbridge Village, where people dress and live as settlers for the benefit of tourists. Unidentifiable (by this cataloguer) street scenes; tourists coming out of ’The Pewter Shop’. More footage of the Tramway Museum at Branford, Connecticut. More nice footage of the aeroplane at Boston Airport; passengers disembarking; point of view shot coming down the stairs (and almost falling on the pretty air hostess at the bottom). M/S of flag, the royal standard of Queen Elizabeth II, flying at the Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford, Connecticut. Several shots of Harvard University; Swan boats sailing on the Charles River in Boston. Unidentified street scenes; probably Boston; a man at a news-stand; C/U of magazines. Lots of good tourist / holidays shots in these cuts. FILM ID:
