Full title reads: “Blackpool. 10,000 Guides & Scouts greet their beloved Chief, ’B.P.’ - at monster Jamboree.“ Blackpool, Lancashire. Large parade led by Girl Guides march across field to the music of a marching band. MS of Chief Scout Lord Robert Baden-Powell (BP), taking the salute from a podium. More shots of Guides parading. Large group of Boy Scouts let out a cheer and run across the field to gather around the saluting base where BP stands. A group of Sea Scouts form a line to hold the crowd back. Baden-Powell makes a speech. He talks about the bad weather and says “any arse can be a scout in good weather.“ Three cheers are led by a scout leader.
