Cowboy Artist (1963)

East Molesey, Surrey. A story about artist Terence Cuneo. It starts with a shot of a painting of steam trains. We see him working on a picture of the Consecration of Coventry Cathedral, his motif is to draw a mouse in every painting. The narrator tells us he has also painted the Coronation. We see several cowboy paintings, it cuts to him riding his horse through the countryside to where Rick Pearson is waiting dressed in a US Cavalryman’s outfit ready to be painted. The narrator tells us that Terence is deputy Marshall of Tombstone. Back in his studio full of models they carry on the painting as Rick sits on the saddle which has been put over a stool. There is a shot of a cockatoo. We see models of a locomotive and a windmill which he made. M/S of Terence’s daughter Linda holding a pistol and cleaning it, he joins her and picks up a rifle which he fills with gunpowder from a pouch and fires it at a wooden door, Linda fires hers. She looks at the door and pulls the bullet out with pliers to sho
