Full title reads: “Antwerp. Some Tunnel! King Albert inaugurates giant concrete tunnel under the Scheldt - 1 1/2 miles long & costing over 3 million pounds!“ Antwerp, Belgium. Shots of large scale construction and excavation. A tunnel is being built under the Scheldt. Lots of iron work is visible and the tunnel is being built using metal sections. Not very much work appears to be being done at the time the shots were filmed. The tunnel is to be used for vehicular traffic. A lift comes up to the surface. Out steps King Albert of Belgium and other dignitaries. King Albert is shown around parts of the site. Shots from a boat on the Scheldt. King Albert and his party come up out of the mouth of the tunnel. A flag flies over a part of the structure.
