Australian Prime Minister Lyons talks about the Country’s place within the Empire. Full title reads: “Melbourne. From Far Off Australia - hear the Hon J. A. Lyons - Australia’s new Premier - tell us, here at home, what a United Empire is doing to bring back prosperity to the World!“ Melbourne, Australia. C/U J A Lyons, Australian Prime Minister. Lyons speaks to camera: “The people of Australia will, we hope, constitute one grand council of state. Every member of it determined to do all in his power to make the national life a happier, a more hopeful and a more profitable experience than it has been in the recent past. I feel that you will all be working with us towards this grand end. And I would like to say that one of the chief objectives of this new ministry will be to remove the fears regarding the future of Australia held by people abroad in the recent past. These people may now rest assured that Australia will carry on the work of economic rehabilitation in a manner that will uphold Britis
