Railway Researchers (1967)

Maidstone, Kent. C/Us of an elderly man, Philip Wallace, putting coal into a miniature steam engine. Three teenage boys sit behind the man, astride the seats attached to the engine and it starts off. Several shots show the miniature steam train travelling a little raised track in a park. Commentator tells us “Members of the Maidstone Model Engineering Society bring back steam’s heyday on a suitably manageable scale“. Note: there are brief cameraman’s notes on file.
