London. C/U of silver knives, forks and spoons on a red velvet tray. We then see several shots of cutlery being made by hand in a small factory; the seven workers are the only members of the London Hand-Forged Spoon and Fork Makers Society. Men are seen hammering pieces of silver on anvils, pressing the desired style using a mould and filing the cutlery into shape. Note: there are notes on file which say the factory was C J Vander Ltd. Brief cuts exist - see separate record. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
