Full title reads: “Paris. France retains the Davis Cup - thanks chiefly to marvellous play of J. Borotra - ’master’ tennis player still at 33 years of age!“ Paris, France. Intertitle reads: “... first defeating Vines ... who ’massacred’ everyone at Wimbledon ... 6.4 6.2 3.6 6.4 ...“ Jean Borotra, wearing his beret, plays tennis in front of a large crowd. Having won he leaps the net and runs to shake hands with his opponent. The crowd come to their feet and applaud. The two players - H. Ellesworth Vines and Jean Borotra - walk off the court. He may be injured as a man has to come out and help him tie his shoe lace and he appears to have difficulty bending.
