Cat’s Hotel (1967)

Bedford, Bedfordshire. At Mrs Dorothy Silkstone’s cattery we see a lady dropping off her Silver Tabby cat in a basket. Mrs Silkstone (with a crazy beehive hairdo) takes the cat from the basket and examines it’s ears and mouth then takes it into a large caged enclosure and strokes it; the owner strokes it then walks off. We see Mrs Silkstone giving a Burmese (?) cat a good brushing; some other Burmese cats are seen playing in their pens. Two cats on leads are taken for walks around the garden. Note: on file is a letter from Mrs Silkstone, suggesting it would be nice if the Pathe cameraman came to her cattery while the daffodils are out. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
