Full title reads: “France. The Race of a thousand curves & thrills! Earl Howe finishes 4th in Monte Carlo Grand Prix - Motoring’s greatest test of nerve & driving skill - 100 times over twisting 2-mile course!“ Monte Carlo, France. Racing cars speed around the Monte Carlo Grand Prix course. The course runs along the streets of the principality and looks much as it does today. The course takes the cars past the harbour where crowds line the track. The track appears to have been covered in dust or powder of some kind. Good shot of one of the cars abandoned at the side of the track. At one stage of the course the cars go through a tunnel and emerge into bright sunlight. You get a real sense of the speed the cars are travelling at. Man stepping out into track to wave flag as car crosses finishing line. Sound Track Missing FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
