Garden Village (1957)

Fletching, Sussex. Various shots of a model village that Mr Christopher Joyice (sic) has built over a period of 20 years. We see a woman visitor looking at a model of a 15th century manor house with miniature horses and hounds outside. Various buildings are seen in C/U. Children’s Corner has little pixies and gnomes. Two young boys look at the models - they are Mr Joyice’s grandchildren Keith and Adrian. C/U of Mr Joyice at work on a model. C/U of the model. He was blinded in one eye during the First World War and makes money from his model village to give to the Sunshine Homes for Blind Children. We see Mr Joyice crouching beside one of his models.
