Pram Relay (1962)

Hatfield, Hertfordshire. M/S of a boy lying on the floor, another man is crouching down near him, going through a bag of tools. He hands the boy a pair of pliers and the camera pans across to show him making adjustments to a pram, it has a number ’5’ on the side. L/S of various students outside Hatfield College of Technology as they work on their prams. M/S of another man beckoning them to come over, M/S as the boys wheel the prams up ready for the race. M/S of four boys with their prams at the starting line, C/U as a man waves his handkerchief to start the race. C/U as the boys start racing towards the camera, L/S as they race away. Various shots of the race in progress round the college grounds. The narrator explains Hatfield are winners of the Inter-University Pram Relay race.
