Full title reads: “France. Landslide Disaster. Many killed and injured as thousands of tons of earth overwhelm St. Jean district of Lyons - the scene of similar catastrophe 18 months ago.“ Lyons, France. Tilt down collapsed block of flats. Half of the building is still standing. Voiceover suggests that around thirty people died in this block. A hose pipe is playing water on the rubble which caught fire after the landslide. According to the voiceover M. Edouard Herriot (the new French Premier and also Mayor of Lyons) had a narrow escape while helping in the rescue work. More shots of the damage.
