Prince George (1932)

Full Title reads: “Prince George - during crowded visit to Scotland - has great reception everywhere, particularly by thousands of workers at Carron Iron Works & at Falkirk’s new £100,000 Infirmary.“ Falkirk, Scotland. (Prince George later became Duke of Kent) Stills cameraman scurries in front of Prince George and his party. They walk towards the camera. George waves towards the camera as he passes. Inside the Carron Iron Works. There are several old fashioned cannons lined up . In the background is a van with Carron Company written on it. George is talking to dignitaries. Prince George and party walk down line of nurses. He stands on a stage and begins to make a speech to open the new Falkirk Infirmary. The crowd get to their feet as he begins his address. (According to the commentary the speech included a note from the King granting the title Royal to the infirmary.) George walks past clapping nurses and gives a quick salute.
