Frozen Eggs (1961)

M/S of a woman in overalls and a turban, breaking lots of eggs, one after another, into a metal cup in a factory. We pan left to show two rows of women sitting either side of a conveyor belt, all cracking eggs into metal containers and throwing the shells on a lower conveyor belt, while egg yolks move slowly along the upper conveyor belt in a trough. Commentator tells us the eggs are about to be frozen in their thousands for large scale bakers and confectioners. One of the women sniffs her jug of eggs before pouring them into the trough. Interesting M/S and C/U from the egg shell conveyor belt as numerous shells are thrown onto it. Another lady brings a new load of eggs to the girls to break. The eggs float along the conveyor belt and into a large fish-shaped container, where a woman spoons out dodgy ones and sniffs them - yeuch!
