Working Holidays (1959)

Dolgelley and Peniarth, Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. The Civic Trust organises volunteer working holidays. M/S of a team, including Sandra Messenger, as they work to clear a footpath and beauty spot, called Torrent Walk, which has been blocked by fallen trees. At Peniarth, a team demolish some derelict buildings which were part of an old army camp. They seem to have fun working as a team. C/U of a wheelbarrow full of axes and sledge hammers. C/U brickwork smashed up and heaps of rubble. Brief closing shot of a low bridge and Welsh mountains.
