Eggshell Artist (1964)

Hampstead, London. Housewife artist Verna Hitchcock makes art out of broken eggshells and animal skulls - pretty impressive. Begins with shot of Verna putting something made of egg whites in the oven. She then washes some eggshells. Verna sits at a large desk where she works on a large picture made in a mosaic style using tiny pieces of eggshells. C/U of the picture. Verna has become a bird expert through searching the countryside for broken eggs. C/U of an artist’s palette with a small animal skull standing on it. Verna decorates animal skulls too. C/U of eggshell picture. Then shots of Verna’s art on the walls of an art gallery. A young girl admires the pictures. Various shots of different pictures. Verna’s new idea is making pictures out of pieces of coloured light bulbs. We see a picture of a parrot made in very bright colours.
