Full title reads: “Norfolk, VA. Million-Pound Ship Ablaze! - 11,000 ton liner ’Segovia’ - pride of the America mercantile fleet - destroyed on eve of making maiden voyage.“ Norfolk, Virginia, United States of America. L/S of liner half submerged in water in dock. Large crane in the background - The voice over says that the ship capsized due to water being pumped into the hold to put out a fire.
