Kenya Safari (1967)

Tsavo, Kenya National Park, Africa. Various shots at Nairobi Airport show a crowd of passengers getting onto a BUA (British United Airlines) aeroplane; L/S of the plane taking off. On board we see the passengers looking at souvenirs of their trip to Kenya - drums, brochures, carvings and an ostrich egg - while they are served drinks by a stewardess. Cut to several shots of animals and birds in the Tsavo National Park: elephants (one is seen trumpeting), wildebeest, pelicans, rhinoceroses (rhinos). Some tourists with their heads sticking out of a camper van drive through the entrance of the Park; inside we see the orderly campsite; a white man washes from a bowl outside one of the green tents. Several shots of exotic flowers and vegetation; a beautiful waterfall. The tourists stand outside the camper van and look through binoculars at flamingos on a lake and giraffes. More people look at lions from a Land Rover. At an area for ’Game Orphans’ we see rhinos, buffalo and ostriches wandering around
