London. M/S of the interior of a Georgian room. Chairs, table, dressing table, candle holders, porcelain figurines... M/S of a fireplace. C/U shot of a chandelier with candles in. C/U shot of a cupboard filled with china. A hand appears and opens the cupboard - hand is the same size as cupboard! All this is miniature carved in wood to perfection. Person who carved it is Stanislas Idzikowski, formerly a principal dancer with Diaghileff (ballet troop), and today a famous ballet teacher. “Maestro Idzikowski, one of the last direct links with the great Cheketti, Diaghileff’s ballet master and the man who thought Pavlova, Nijinski, and the other Russian greats, is the son of a Polish wood sculptor and architect, from whom he obviously inherits this talent.“ M/S of Mr Idzikowski, sitting at the table, carving the Coronation Coach - carved Milan Cathedral is behind him.
