Ukrainian Students Prepare for War: Donbas Battalion fighter trains Kyiv undergraduates

Tamara Rozouvan: I’m here in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv at the Military institute of Taras Shevchenko University. I’m about to meet the young men and women who are part of a volunteer battalion. With the Russian-backed insurgency going on in the east of the country these students are getting ready to be called in at any given time to protect their country’s sovereignty and independence. These students receive their basic training on the weekends from the institute’s military staff and from soldiers retu
