Let’s check out her debut film Water Lilies. Water Lilies is a 2007 film depicting a French teenager Marie (Pauline Acquart) as she navigates a budding love for synchronized swimmer Floriane (Adele Haenel) and turbulence with her best friend Anne (Louise Blachère). It’s an LGBT love story, it’s a great female director, it’s Adele Haenel. It’s a banger and a half. If you were ever young and in love, you’ll get it.
