Fly fishing NZ - when the going gets tough

An overnighter with Kresten Ovesen from Denmark in a place ravaged a bit early season by floods. The fish numbers were a bit patchy but the ones we found generally took a well presented fly - both dry and nymph. Here are some highlights (and lowlights) of the trip where for some reason keeping fish attached once hooked proved annoyingly hard at times... Some great fish to the net and fun all round though in a beautiful place.
