How To Replace Your Brakes (2010 Lexus ES350)

Hey there, car enthusiasts! Today, we’re diving into the exciting world of automotive maintenance with a focus on replacing front brakes on a Lexus ES350. Trust me, it’s easier than you might think! So buckle up and let’s get started. The first step is to loosen the wheel lug nuts, but don’t remove them just yet. This will make the process of changing tires much smoother in the future. Next, we’ll raise the front of your car using a jack and secure it with a stand for added safety. Now, it’s time to remove the lug nuts and take off the front wheel completely. Moving on to the brake system, disconnect the hose clamps on both sides of your vehicle and detach all cables from your calipers. Once that’s done, you can easily remove the calipers from both sides for inspection and replacement. Now comes the fun part – installing new brake pads on both sides! Make sure to lubricate them for a seamless installation. After that, reattach the cables and hoses onto your newly replaced calipers. Don’t forget to bleed each side as well. Finally, reattach your wheels onto both sides of your car and tighten those lug nuts securely using a torque wrench for safety. But remember, we still need to replace those front brakes! To do this, start by tightening all four lug nuts with your torque wrench until they click twice – this ensures they’re tightened properly. Next, lower each side using a jack and slowly release it completely using a breaker bar while holding your axle in place with gloves for added safety during removal. Repeat this process for both sides before lowering everything back down again using Jack 1 or 2 individually (check out our video for more info). And there you have it! Replacing front brakes on your Lexus ES350 is now complete – all in just over an hour with minimal tools needed: brake bleeding kit or tool. #Lexus ES350
