George Floyd protest: Windows broken, police move in after peaceful Syracuse march

Peaceful protests turned chaotic Saturday, May 30, 2020, in downtown Syracuse. For more than seven hours Saturday, protesters marched or slowly drove for miles through parts of the city and two suburbs without issue, following George Floyd’s killing. But well after 9 p.m., the window glass shattered, and protesters scattered. Police in riot gear emerged from behind a Public Safety Building wall. Read the full story here:
