We kitbash & paint our own 80’s Action Movie inspired Space Marine! | Duncan Rhodes| Warhammer 40K
The 80’s had arguably the greatest action movies ever made (Aliens, Predator, Die Hard, Commando, They Live to name but a few) and we love ’em! So we figured it would be fun to create an 80’s Action Hero Space Marine inspired by some of our favourite action films from that decade. Cue Major Dutch McClane of the Void Predators from Death World Nakatomi! This bad a$$ Astartes believes that Xenos (Especially Tyranids) are a disease and he is the cure!
Converting miniatures is one of the most fun aspects of the wargaming and Warhammer hobby and is an amazing way to unleash your creativity and make something unique and in this tutorial we show you how to do just that! We also delve into our methods for creating a colour scheme and how to find inspiration for your theme.
This was a lot of fun to make and we reckon a Kill Team of these guys would be seriously bad a$$!
