Newcastle to Edinburgh

A delightful trip up the ECML from Newcastle to Edinburgh. The traction is a TPE Class 802 which nudges 125 mph in places. The views from the coast are spectacular. Addendum The clock tower labelled as we approach Edinburgh is in fact on the Balmoral Hotel and was originally the North British Railway’s North British Hotel.
