Supermarkets across Seoul, South Korea have recently run out of sea salt as people stock up on the condiment ,ahead of the planned release into the sea of radioactive water from Japan. Although Japan has repeatedly reassured its neighbours that the water from the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster no longer carries health risks, citizens are not convinced. There is no set date yet of when the treated water will be released, but Tokyo says it will happen soon.
