The Loneliest Road In America - Listen Closely - Living The Van Life

Aerial footage of a solo trip across the US Route 50 starting at Interstate 15 south of Salt Lake City, Utah and traveling west all the way toward Reno Nevada. U.S. Route 50 or U.S. Highway 50 is a major east–west route of the U.S. Highway system that was created in 1926, stretching just over 3,000 miles (4,800 km) from Interstate 80 (I-80) in West Sacramento, California, to Maryland Route 528 (MD 528) in Ocean City, Maryland, on the Atlantic Ocean. The section through Nevada is considered “The Loneliest Road in America“ although I found the section through Utah just as vast and just as lonely. The trip across this landscape has been one of my most favorite treks through the desert. It truly left an impression on me.
