Homemade fuel gauge

This video will show you a homemade fuel gauge I made for my moped. Basic tutorial included. The main body, including the mounting ring is aluminium and was made with a lathe. The float was made from a fishing net float. I had to experiment with different sizes to get it to work right. The ball bearing is originally for use in an Yo-yo, and the glass lens is for flashlights. Both was purchased from DealExtreme.
